Product type Slabs

Our cellular glass insulation slabs measure 600 x 450mm. Slabs are used throughout the entire internal and external building envelope. They meet Euroclass A1 test standards, and are easy to handle, cut and trim.

Grade T3+

Provides all of the benefits of FOAMGLAS® cellular glass insulation - long lasting thermal performance, excellent compressive strength and non-combustibility. T3+ is extremely popular for applications upon walls, soffits and roofs. With a thermal conductivity (lambda value) of 0.036 W/(m·K). FOAMGLAS® T3+ is available in thicknesses from 50 mm to 200 mm.

Compressive strength requirements for any application should always be confirmed with a structural engineer to ensure the correct product specification.

Since the start of 2020, we are proud to offer our popular FOAMGLAS® T3+ slabs in a bigger format: 120 x 60 cm. And yes, this is the first time we have an A1 Euroclass rated non-combustible material in such a large size in our product portfolio!

The benefits for our customers:

• minimise labour costs by using larger size (each with 0,72 m² instead of 0,27 m²) (means faster
  installation)
• less adhesive needed due to fewer joints (less joints = less adhesive)
• incombustible material (A1 Euroclass)

The new product is available in 7 thicknesses ranging between 80-180 mm meaning that the customers can choose the optimal size for their application (large size or standard size).

Another milestone was achieved in 2018: by optimising our production process, we are now able to offer FOAMGLAS® T3+ with a maximum thickness of 200 mm. This was in response stricter regulatory requirements and offers an added benefit for our customers. The increased thickness puts us in line with the majority of thermal regulations with just one layer of cellular glass, decreasing the cost for the customer.

FOAMGLAS® T3+ is the best cellular glass we have ever produced. With its markedly improved thermal conductivity and a similar compressive strength to existing cellular glass products, it allows for thinner insulation in constructions and meets the necessary thermal requirements. Since the launch in 2017, FOAMGLAS® T3+ has been comfortably our most popular product.
