The renowned Wrocław Zoo, the oldest and largest in Poland, offers visitors an opportunity to explore an aquarium that showcases both marine and freshwater ecosystems, as well as the terrestrial fauna of Africa.
The facility features a section that replicates the Namibian coastline, complete with two pools and beaches for aquatic turtles and African penguins. Additionally, there is a boat-shaped building housing a restaurant with an observation terrace, and an area where exhibitions of four different types of biotopes are presented.
The decision to use FOAMGLAS® solutions was driven by the need to ensure a high load-bearing capacity of the floors in a wet environment, prevent deformation under load, maintain the airtightness of the system, and ensure trouble-free operation in these sensitive areas of the facility.
