What is FOAMGLAS® INVATHERM™?

FOAMGLAS® INVATHERM™, as part of the inverted roof system, consists of cellular glass with a pre-applied inorganic coating on the upper surface.
Both the core material and the coating have a fire-resistant classification of Euroclass A1, making the product non-combustible.

BOTH THE CORE MATERIAL AND THE COATING HOLD A EUROCLASS A1 RATING, ENSURING THEY ARE NON-COMBUSTIBLE. 

KEY PERFORMANCE FEATURES

Non-combustible

Both the cellular core material and the pre-applied coating are A1 Euroclass rated. This exceptional combination ensures a non-combustible insulation product that does not produce toxic fumes.

In case of fire, it does not contribute to the spread of flames and remains free from fumes.

Thermal Performance

FOAMGLAS® INVATHERM™ offers exceptional thermal conductivity, with a design lambda value of 0.038 W/mK.

Its closed-cell structure ensures superior insulation properties, contributing to energy efficiency and reducing heating and cooling costs.

Moisture Resistance

The closed-cell structure and inorganic top coating enable FOAMGLAS® INVATHERM™ to be watertight and vapour-tight, making it highly resistant to moisture ingress.

This exceptional performance ensures protection against moisture-related issues such as mould and rot in inverted roof applications.

Compressive strength 

The inverted roof insulation boasts a remarkable compressive strength exceeding 400 kPa, without compression or deformation.

Its closed-cell structure and rigidity ensure long-lasting structural integrity in diverse applications such as podium decks, terraces, and green roofs.
