The Bastion Tower has undergone renovations and insulation with FOAMGLAS® . For this project, 16 cm thick FOAMGLAS® T3+ was used and installed with hot bitumen. Insulation was needed under the supports for the cleaning gondola rails. The cellular glass insulation was ideal for this application because it keeps its shape and doesn’t compress.
