Standing tall and proud, the water tower has undergone an impressive renovation, both in- and outside. The interior has been revitalized with the installation of a new water tub, while the interior insulation has been reinforced with 160 m² of FOAMGLAS interior insulation T3+ with a tiled finishing. The choice of insulation material with exceptional water and vapor resistance is of utmost importance to preserve the integrity and safety of the drinking water.

To enhance its longevity and weather resistance, the roof has been adorned with a protective layer of 450 m² FOAMGLAS® Ready Block, securely attached using FOAMGLAS® PC® 800 adhesive, and finished with a sleek metal standing. This roofing solution ensures optimum protection against the elements, safeguarding the tower and its vital water supply for many years to come.

Additionally, the tower's exterior has undergone a well-deserved makeover, including the refurbishment of paths and the enhancement of surrounding greenery.
This successful renovation sets a precedent for future projects, as numerous towers owned by De Watergroep are scheduled for similar transformations in the coming years.
