Pittsburgh Corning has been acquired by Owens Corning

As you know, Pittsburgh Corning is a global manufacturer of sustainable, high performance glass products for the building, energy and industrial markets, and markets its cellular glass insulation products under the brand name FOAMGLAS® .

We are very pleased that Pittsburgh Corning will become a part of the strong organization of Owens Corning.  The commercial, technical and R&D capabilities of Owens Corning, when combined with our existing capabilities, will provide tremendous opportunities for additional growth and development and the way we serve our customers.  With the resources now available to us as a part of Owens Corning, we will be even better positioned to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations. 

Our new logo, as shown above, reflects the union of the FOAMGLAS® brand with Owens Corning.  We are committed to continuing to provide all of our customers with the highest quality products and services that the FOAMGLAS® brand has been known for.
 
The existing Owens Corning business develops, manufactures, and markets insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composites. Global in scope and human in scale, the company’s market-leading businesses use their deep expertise in materials, manufacturing, and building science to develop products and systems that save energy and improve comfort in commercial and residential buildings. The Pittsburgh Corning acquisition will further expand Owens Corning’s commercial and industrial product offering and grow their presence in Europe and Asia.
